What does your job involve?
My role is a mixture of client relations, project management and training. I oversee and project manage all installations of our products and services, frequently liaising with clients make sure they’re satisfied and things are kept running smoothly. I’m also involved in setting up and training clients on two of our products, Intarga and Intrali.
What’s your background – qualifications, previous experience?
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Nottingham. Most recently, I spent just under a year working at JDX Consulting where I gained lots of experience in both the finance and insurance industry. It’s really helped to prepare me for my new role at VIPR.
VIPR is a growing and successful company, going from strength to strength; I’m joining at a very exciting time! I’m especially looking forward to seeing the recent partnership with JDX Consulting develop.
What do you hope to achieve at VIPR?
I have big shoes to fill, so I’m hoping to follow in my predecessor’s footsteps and maintain VIPR’s high standards.
What you have been doing in your role so far?
A big part of my role is liaising and maintaining relationships with our clients, so I’ve been to a fair few introductory meetings over the past few weeks which I’ve really enjoyed. I’m also being fully trained on VIPR’s Intarga and Intrali systems.
How are you finding your new role?
It’s busy and challenging, but very exciting!
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time? Hobbies etc.
I like playing tennis, attending fitness classes and spending time with my friends. And if I’m not testing a new recipe in the kitchen – I love cooking – I’m relaxing with a good film.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Friendly, engaging and outgoing.
What would people be surprised to know about you?
That I unintentionally broke my school record for shot putt.
Who is your idol?
My Mum – she is the strongest person I know and never complains.
