Here at VIPR, we have been busy celebrating our feature in The Parliamentary Review for the second year. The feature focuses on how we have developed products to suit the insurance industry with an emphasis on our new data transfer solution in collaboration with ACORD Solutions Group. To mark the achievement our Director Richard Brown attended the prestigious launch of The Parliamentary Review 2018 at a special gala evening at the House of Commons on 6 September. The event gathered together experts from a number of industries to mark contributions to the yearly report, which includes an introductory feature written by the Prime Minister.
VIPR’s double-page article, written by our very own CEO Bob Brown, was included in the finance edition, part of a series of independent publications published by The Parliamentary Review. The article discusses the evolution of VIPR, the changing times of the insurance market, as well as detailing our partnership with ACORD Solutions Group to offer an industry-first solution: an automated data exchange for ‘US to London’ insurance companies. In addition, the feature contains testimonials from some of our other notable clients, including CNA Hardy and Miller.
On the night, Richard was also joined by our CTO Paul Templar, Bhuvinder Judge, Head of Delegated Underwriting at CNA/Hardy and Chris Newman, Managing Director Global at ACORD. The team enjoyed the wine and canapés which were on offer while they networked with innovative thinkers from a host of industries. Notable figures in attendance included Co-Chairmen of the publication, Lord Blunkett and Sir Eric Pickles.
“We are honoured to have been invited to write for The Parliamentary Review and attend the gala event to see the article come to life,” said Richard. “With Brexit on the horizon, the insurance market has seen its fair share of uncertainty over the past couple of years, but it nonetheless remains robust and continually evolving. VIPR is confident that with our innovative software solutions, insurers can continue to refine their offering and improve processes. A big thank you to the Parliamentary Review for recognising our contribution to the industry and offering us a platform to comment on Britain’s finance sector.”
