VIPR Connect

VIPR Connect helps a Lloyd’s managing agent automate delegated data collection and processing, improving data quality and audit control while reducing manual work.

A Lloyd’s managing agent operating across the delegated authority market wanted to simplify the way it collected and processed data. A longstanding VIPR customer, the business already used VIPR Intrali to ingest, validate and standardise thousands of bordereaux each year.

However, data arrived from different providers in different formats. Skilled teams spent valuable time moving information manually, while validation against binder terms happened later in the process. Maintaining a clear audit trail added further complexity.

The objective was to automate the flow of data into VIPR Intrali without requiring providers to change their established delivery processes.

VIPR Connect provided an integrated platform with workflow automation, hosted securely on VIPR infrastructure. MGAs, coverholders, brokers, fronting carriers, reinsurers and third-party administrators could continue submitting data through their existing channels, including APIs, portals, spreadsheets and email.

VIPR Connect automated the route into Intrali, where data was validated against binder terms through a fully audited process. This improved visibility across the supply chain and reduced the need for manual intervention.

The implementation enabled weekly data collection, zero manual rekeying across the flow and 100% straight-through processing on arrival. These improvements gave the managing agent quicker visibility of exposure and performance.

The approach also created a repeatable process that could be extended to further binders, supporting wider automation while preserving providers’ existing ways of working.
