Our process begins even before the new joiner’s first day. To help new employees feel even more connected from day one, we ask them to share a short biography and photo ahead of joining. This gives us a glimpse into their background, experience, and interests outside of work, and allows colleagues to get to know them as individuals. These introductions are shared with the wider team beforehand, ensuring new starters are met with warmth and familiarity from the outset. Prior to their start, they also receive a welcome message from the Head of People, offering a personal touch and setting the stage for the exciting journey ahead.
This thoughtful gesture helps to ensure they feel valued from day one, even if they’re still working from home or the office.
In addition to the welcome message, new joiners also receive an onboarding handbook packed with everything they need to know about VIPR, from our Company values to key operational details, and how we aim to provide the best customer solutions. This is a great resource for new employees, ensuring they have a clear understanding of our mission, vision, and values before they even meet their team.

New starters have an opportunity to participate in introductory sessions with the Executive team, where they can ask questions and learn about the strategic direction of the Company. These sessions are a great way for new employees to understand VIPR’s overarching vision and their place within it.
