VIPR calls for more connected insurance data at ACORD Connect 2026
VIPR Solutions emphasizes the need for enhanced data connectivity in the insurance sector following ACORD Connect 2026, highlighting its role in improving decision-making.
London, 8th October 2026: VIPR Solutions, the insurance-native technology platform, has highlighted the need for better data exchange between trading partners following its participation in ACORD Connect 2026.
Held on 16 and 17 September in Connecticut, the event brought together leaders from across the reinsurance and specialty market. One of the programme highlights was the panel discussion Connecting the Dots: Inside Today’s Digital Reinsurance & Specialty Market, which explored how digital data exchange across placement, accounting and claims is changing the way brokers, underwriters and other trading partners work together.
For delegated authority business, risk, premium and claims information often moves between multiple organisations, each with its own systems and reporting requirements. Delays and inconsistent data can make it harder to understand portfolio performance, identify emerging issues and act on them promptly.
Paul Templar, Co-Founder and CEO of VIPR, said: “Better connectivity starts with data that trading partners can trust and use. When information moves reliably between MGAs, brokers, carriers and reinsurers, they can see what is happening across a portfolio and make decisions sooner.”
VIPR’s technology helps MGAs, TPAs, brokers, insurers and reinsurers transfer, standardise, validate and reconcile bordereaux data in a controlled and auditable way. It processes around 500,000 bordereaux annually, representing approximately $12 billion in gross written premium.
The event followed VIPR’s announcement on 3 September of a majority investment by Bridgepoint Growth. Bridgepoint Growth has become VIPR’s majority shareholder, while Templar and the management team have reinvested and continue to lead the business. The partnership will support further investment in VIPR’s technology, expand its existing insurance-native AI capabilities and accelerate growth in international markets.
Paul added: “Bridgepoint’s backing gives us the opportunity to bring these capabilities to more of the market. Our focus remains on helping customers turn complex data into a clearer, more timely view of their business.”
